The cost of each laundry renovation, remodel or upgrade depends on a variety of factors, including plumbing changes, labour, joinery, fittings, finishes and consents. Basic upgrades are generally more affordable than full layout changes, custom joinery or plumbing relocations.
We strive to be as transparent as possible with our clients, determining your vision early on to build a quote that fits your home and budget best. There’ll be no confusion with Ka Pai Plumbing.

A remodel completely changes the look and feel of your laundry space, which may include moving plumbing or reconfiguring your layout. A renovation usually means refreshing your existing layout with upgrades to your fittings, tub, appliances or joinery. If you’re not sure which you need, we can help you figure out the best approach.

For most renovations - no. Because we’re simply upgrading fittings or other elements within the same layout, council consent is usually not required. However, if you decide to go for a laundry remodel, council consent may be required to move plumbing or change the structure of the space.
If we determine that you may need council consent following our initial consultation, we’ll let you know from the get-go.

From there, we’ll draft a plan and a quote that clearly breaks down the job so you know exactly what to expect.

As you might expect, it depends on the scope. A basic upgrade could take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. Bigger jobs - like remodels - will most likely take longer, especially if consents are required.
